A car was destroyed by fire outside the clifftop home of a convicted paedophile.
The blaze broke out at a property linked to Jason Davis, 51, who was jailed for two years in February at Norwich Crown Court for breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) and for shooting two 13-year-old boys with an airgun.
A vehicle parked in the front yard of the house was reportedly set alight at around 5pm on Friday, January 2.
A neighbour said the fire spread rapidly and that the car “literally exploded”.
“The car and the property have been vandalised and broken into a few times over the past couple of months,” they said.
…
“I don’t know exactly how it started, but I believe it was done deliberately.”
The property has previously been targeted.
In May, police were called after power cables were cut and a window and patio door were damaged. Later that month, another window was smashed.
